Former Renton resident Richard L. Tasca of Lewistown, Mont., died March 15, 2002, in Kent. He was 65. Born Aug. 13, 1936, in Seattle, Mr. Tasca was raised in Renton and graduated from Renton High School in 1954. He married Rosemary Guillaume Sept. 13, 1956, in Renton. He moved to Montana in 1994. He worked at Gai's Bakery for more than 30 years, retiring in 1994. He was a member of Teamsters Union Local 227, Renton Eagles, St. Anthony Catholic Church, Moose Lodge and Sons of the Legion in Lewistown, Mont. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, car racing, gardening and raising and showing dogs. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Tasca of Lewistown, Mont.; sons Michael Tasca, Nicholas Tasca and Richard Tasca, all of Renton; daughters Elizabeth Sipe of Kent, Catherine Melchior of Fall City and Rosemary Heston of Burien; sister Lea Hanson of Renton; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and companion Patricia Roland of Auburn. Visitation will be held from noon to 7 p.m. today followed by a rosary at 7 p.m. at Faull-Stokes Mortuary in Renton. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Renton. Burial will be Wednesday at Gethsemane Cemetery in Federal Way. Memorials may be made to the Rocky Mountain Stem Cell Cancer Center. William Thomas Sobo Sr. William Thomas Sobo Sr., of Auburn died March 13, 2002, in Seattle. He was 71. Born Aug. 16, 1930, in St. Louis, Mo., Mr. Sobo served in the Army as a military policeman. He lived in South County for 38 years. He worked as a carpet manufacturer for 25 years, retiring in 1992. He attended St. Matthew's Lutheran Church and was a past member of Fairwood Golf Club. He enjoyed golfing, crossword puzzles, hunting, traveling and Dixieland jazz. He is survived by his sons, William Jr., and Tom; and daughters Wendy, Gwenn, Jeanne, Joni, Jodi and Susan. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. today at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Renton. Memorials may be made to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. Arrangements are by Greenwood Funeral Home in Renton. Christopher Goldfoos Christopher Goldfoos of Kent died March 15, 2002, in Kent. He was 38. Born May 7, 1963, in Merced, Calif., Mr. Goldfoos lived in the Maple Valley and Kent area for eight years. He is survived by his wife, Lori Goldfoos of Kent; daughters Emily Goldfoos and Elena Goldfoos, both of Merced, Calif.; stepsons Michael Reid of Kent, and Nicholas Wakeman and Matthew Wakeman, both of Redmond; stepdaughter Joanie Reid of Kent; father William Goldfoos of Merced, Calif.; mother Betty Jo Onlinger of Merced, Calif.; brothers Bill Goldfoos and Mark Goldfoos, both of Merced, Calif., Robbin Goldfoos of Maple Valley and Sergio Cerde of Alaska; sisters Alicia Cerde of San Jose, Calif.; and one granddaughter. Visitation will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Wednesday at Marlatt Funeral Home in Kent. Russell F. Dunham Russell Frank Dunham of Auburn died March 15, 2002, in Seattle. He was 88. Born April 6, 1913, in Minot, N.D., Mr. Dunham married Kathleen Howard May 11, 1934, in Kent. He lived in South County for 72 years. He owned and operated Dunham's Supermarket in Kent, retiring in 1992. He worked in the grocery business for 42 years. He was a member of Kent United Methodist Church, the Kent Rotary Club, Auburn Elks Lodge 1808, Verity Lodge 59 F. and A.M., Scottish Rite and Seattle Shrine. He enjoyed flower gardening. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Dunham of Auburn; sons Howard Dunham of Prineville, Ore., Gene Dunham of Auburn and Jack Dunham of Kent; 14 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. Wednesday at Yahn and Son Funeral Home in Auburn. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Kent United Methodist Church in Kent. Interment will be at Hillcrest Burial Park in Kent. Lorraine `Laurie' Soleim E. Lorraine ``Laurie'' Soleim of Kent died March 13, 2002, in Kent. She was 86. Born June 3, 1915, in Douglas, Ark., Mrs. Soleim lived in Kent for three years. She was a loan officer for the Weyerhaeuser Credit Union. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she was a Sunday school superintendent and involved with the church council, the financial team and the Vesper's Women's Circle. She was also a member of the Longview Country Club and participated in bridge and dancing. She co-founded the Longview Seaman's Center. She is survived by her husband, Knute Soleim of Kent; son David Soleim of Maple Valley; daughter Pam Brandon of Rancho Murieta, Calif.; son Rocky ``Knute'' Soleim of Redmond; daughter Vithara Sau of Vancouver; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Price-Helton Funeral Home in Auburn. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent. Memorials may be made to the Crippled Children's Fund or the End-of-Life Program, Franciscan Foundation, P.O. Box 1502, Tacoma, WA 98401. Jeanette E. Nunnallee Jeanette E. Nunnallee of Hobart died March 16, 2002, in Hobart. She was 90. Born Sept. 13, 1911, in Everett, Mrs. Nunnallee was raised in Trout Creek, Mont., where she attended school. She married Edmund P. Nunnallee Oct. 27, 1931, in Trout Creek, Minn. She moved to Des Moines in 1942 and to Hobart in 1967, where she lived for 35 years. She enjoyed gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund Nunnallee, in 1985. She is survived by her sons, Edmund P. Nunnallee Jr., of Maple Valley and David A. Nunnallee of Issaquah; daughters Janet Rae Peterson of Canby, Minn., and Mary Ann Anderson of Moses Lake; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Maple Valley-Hobart Cemetery. A reception at Hobart Community Church will follow. Memorials may be made to the Maple Valley Food Bank, P.O. Box 322, Maple Valley, WA 98038. Arrangements are by Flintofts Issaquah Funeral Home. Kellie M. Harker Covey Kellie Mae Harker Covey of Enumclaw died March 13, 2002, in Encampment, Wyo. She was 35. Born May 8, 1966, in Renton, Mrs. Covey lived in South County for 35 years. She was a homemaker who enjoyed camping and watching her children play soccer. She is survived by her husband, Grant Covey of Enumclaw; sons Joey Covey and Jeremy Covey of Enumclaw and Jason Covey of Sumner; father Joseph Harker of Seattle; mother Myrtle of Saratoga, Wyo.; stepmother Judy Petersen of Renton; grandmother Elmira of McCoy, Colo.; brothers David Roybal of Augusta, Ga., John Roybal of Rawlins, Wyo., and Chris Roybal of Prescott, Ariz.; sister Debi Harker Leach of Greenwater; and two grandchildren. A committal service will be held at noon Monday at Evergreen Memorial Park in Enumclaw. Arrangements are by Weeks' Enumclaw Funeral Home.
