Dies at Age 65;

Funeral at Alton

Mrs. Mary Irene Dunham, 65, of Effingham died at 12:30 a.m. yesterday at the Prahl-Binnion nursing home, where she had been a patient since November 16, 1949.

Mrs. Dunham was born February 7, 1885, in Alton, a daughter of Steve and Augusta Williams. She is survived by two sons, Edward and Francis Dunham, both of Effingham; two brothers, Edward and John Williams, of Alton; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dunham will be held tomorrow morning at St. Peter and Paul church in Alton, and burial will be in the church cemetery. The body was removed to the Staten funeral home in Alton this morning, where it will remain until time for services.
